Welcome Sled Dog Friends and Racers!
Thanks for visiting our website. We always enjoy and appreciate you considering DogDaze when you decide to buy dogs and pups.
We will always attempt to be one step ahead of the competition when it comes to breeding the next generation of superstars.
Our race season concluded with mixed feelings. For as much winter as we had, we still had two major races canceled. My daughter Hannah’s love for gymnastics, which she is really good at, is as time consuming for our family as racing sled dogs. It’s very difficult to juggle the commitments both these sports require.
My employer of 25 years passed away on January 11, which was not only personally difficult, but my work load increased substantially.
I’m not complaining, or suggesting our race season was jeopardized by life’s many challenges. We mushers are always searching for more time and $$ aren’t we. What I’ve enjoyed so much about racing dogs, is the diversion it creates. It forces you to overcome life’s many curve balls.
You cannot be successful in this sport by relaxing your commitment to the dogs. You always have to outwork your competition, and by focusing on the regimentation of dog training, you don’t have a lot of time for worry, or nonsense.
I want to say thanks and congratulate Tanner Johnson, who raced our dogs to a 3 dog skijor ISDRA Gold Medal. Mark Cooper, for providing us with the ultimate race sled, and for developing our yearlings. We had a team of 1st year, 2 year olds that grew up real fast. Mark did an excellent job of developing them.
As for our future, I am going to have shoulder replacement surgery in June, and have been advised, to stay away from the rigors of dog stuff for at least a year. What does that mean? I have some awesome dogs for sale and the prices are right.
Don’t worry! I know I’ve sold some very good dogs, but there are still many more who will improve your team.
I stand behind all my dog sales. If you purchase a dog or pup from me you’ll always be happy with your purchase. That’s a promise!
Thank you for your interest and support in dog sled racing. I must also thank my dogs for giving me so much back. Their commitment and dedication to succeed was my inspiration. And last but not least, my two main sponsors Tradition Pet Foods by Hub bard, and Cooper Sleds by Mark and Kim Cooper. The energy generated by the dogs, from eating Tradition, required me to have, super Cooper sled, just to stay on the trail!
In closing, I just want to say thanks, for visiting our web site. Sorry it has taken us so long to update our journey. Please pray for safety, as the sled dog community
travels around this winter. Pray for protection over sled dogs everywhere. And I pray that God, our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, will give you grace and peace. If you don’t know Him personally, don’t be afraid to talk with me about my relationship with Him. I’m a sinner, saved by grace.
May God bless all of you in His Name.
About Mike Marsch
Sprint Racer and Breeder of Top Racing Alaskan & Euro-hound Bloodlines.
“We have developed a top racing bloodline over the last 24 years. Most all of our dogs make it to the top in competition.
The temperament of our bloodlines are very sweet, gentle, outgoing dogs, with a strong desire to compete and run. They are extremely strong and intelligent, very honest and dedicated. We have bred just the right mix of our Greyhound X’s to the Pointer X’s. A very high percentage of leaders are produced. The perfect combination of head, heart and body. Check them out here.
